PRICING

Many people assume that hiring an interior decorator is an expensive luxury earmarked for the wealthy. And while some decorating firms may charge a small fortune for their services, Shea Interiors can actually help you save money.

PROFESSIONAL DISCOUNT SHARING
Decorating industry professionals receive trade discounts through a variety of contractors and product vendors. At Shea Interiors these discounts, normally 10-30%, are then shared with our clients in full.

So unlike what you may experience with some designers, the price we pay is the price you pay, thus netting you a better rate than you would have received on your own. In many instances, the savings are significant enough to cover the cost of our services, and then some!
See examples below

“NO SURPRISES” FEE STRUCTURE
Simple, upfront service rates take the guesswork out of budgeting your decorating dollars. Service charges from Shea Interiors fall into only two categories: Initial Planning Fee and Commission Cost.

Initial Planning Fee:
As low as $200, the initial planning fee is a one-time, all-inclusive fee based on a project’s size and timeframe.

Commission Cost:
Is equal to 30% of the cost of products and services purchased on behalf of a client. The commission cost is often offset by our professional trade discounts, as detailed above.

Two examples of how Shea Interiors can actually SAVE you money:

PRODUCTS
Furniture Purchase:
Savings of $
45

In this instance, the client ultimately saved $45 on the cost of the sofa, and without paying any additional money for the decorator's commission cost.

Sofa selected on Client’s behalf by Shea Interiors: $500 price tag
Shea Interiors’ store discount: 30%

Actual cost of sofa after Shea Interiors’ discount: $500 - 30% = $350
Shea Interiors’ Commission Cost: $350 x 30% = $105

Final cost of Sofa (350) + Commission (105): $455

SERVICES
Flooring Installation:
Savings of $180

In this instance, the client ultimately saved $180 on the cost of the flooring installation without paying any additional money for the decorator's commission cost. And the client gained peace of mind by utilizing the services of a trustworthy service professional’s work with whom Shea Interiors is well acquainted.

Wood floor installation: Regularly $2000
Shea Interiors’ contractor discount: 30%

Actual cost of installation after Shea Interiors’ discount: $2000 - 30% = $1400
Shea Interiors’ Commission Cost: $1400 x 30% = $420

Final cost of Installation (1400) + Commission (420): $1820
